15 QUESTIONS TUMBLR CHALLENGE

Hey guys,
It's a new day, therefore I bring to you a new tag! via my good friend Tumblr

1. You were just given a yacht. What would you name it?

The Jess express

2. If you could have been told one thing that you weren't told when you were a teenager, what would you like to have heard?

well, I'm currently a teenager, but I'd say learn ahead of the class

3. What is your favourite commercial? What commercial annoys you the most?

...I'll get back to you on this one

4. Where do you see yourself in ten years?

Successful in a job that makes me travel a lot, in a serious relationship, surrounded by friends and family, have an apartment with a view of the city skyline

5. What is the worst possible name to call a child?

After any celebrity/ animal/ object (e.g table, salt, moon) or the parents likes
e.g. I was watching cake boss, and a client loved denim, so she wanted to name her child Denim.

6. What is the best/worst pick up line you have ever heard?

To me personally, it was something along the lines of "...you look like the Mona Lisa"

7. What is the weirdest gift you have ever received?

weird? It's not really weird, but a pencil case

8. What is your most disappointing moment in life?

wow... I'm not sure, probably not being able to join my netball team when they had to compete in Beijing

9. When have you laughed the hardest? Cried?

Well, I have this weird thing, where when I laugh a lot, I begin to cry. So this is kind of  a two in one answer.  Pretty much any time I'm with my friends or family

10. If you had a “theme song” that played whenever you walk into a room full of people, what would it be?

Idek, probably, my current favourite song Vanic X K.Flay - Can't Sleep

11. Are you a planner or a procrastinator? Give an example?

Well, you already know the answer to this, I'm regrettably a procrastinator. My infrequent blog posts is example enough

12. Would you rather plan a party or attend one? Why?

Both (for anyone currently planning a part ;) ) but on a more serious note, I kind of like the planning process. Being able to make the guest list, giving people a dress code to follow, choosing the venue, music, etc.

13. If you could attend any college, free of charge, what college would that be and what major would you pursue? Why?

I currently have too many things I want to do in the future, but I'd probably go to

14. What is something unexpected that has changed about you in the last few years?

I think I've become a more honest, tolerant person, to different personalities and people, but I'm still working on it :)

15. Would you ever use a dating service (match.com, e-harmony, etc.) to find someone?
Why/Why not.

NO. Not that I have anything against those kind of sites or the people that use them, but I believe that you'll find the person you're meant to be with eventually, if you are meant to be with them

Anyway, I've got another quote and picture for you all,

Would you rather tag PT. 1

Hey guys,

I was browsing my tumblr and I found a lot of (in my opinion) really cool tags that we could do. So, for every day this week, I'm going to do a tag, and maybe this time next year (if I remmeber) I'll redo the tags and see if I'd chose the same answers, or if I've changed my mind.
Today's tag is...

The would you rather tag
theses are my answers:

1.Would you rather live in a world where there are no problems or live in a world where you rule?

I would say, live in a world with no problems, because even if I don't rule it, everyone would be either equal, or just well off in life and there'll be no suffering

2. Would you rather get a dream vacation for two weeks or spend a week with anyone in the world?

I would probably spend a week with anyone in the world. If you think about it, you could take that dream vacation any time (if you save up), but you might never get the chance to spend a day, yet alone a week with that person

3. Would you rather fly or read minds?

This one's easy. Definitely read minds. That way no one will know what I know (well technically they will) and you can finally find out what people are thinking when you catch them staring at you

4. Would you rather have more time or money?

I would rather have more money.
Simply because we all spend most of our lives trying to make money, therefore if I had more money, I could use that time for something else. So in a way, by having more money I'd have more free time

5. Would you have piercings or tattoos?

I would have... I don't know. Tattoos?
I guess, if you have tattoos, at least there can be some sort of meaning/story behind it, whereas if you had a piercing...

6. Would you rather have a rewind button in your life or a pause button in your life?

Hmmm.. another tough one. I think a rewind button would be very useful, but then if I was to change something in the past, I wouldn't be the same person that I am today and things would be different, like I might not have met the friends I have now... so I'd have to say a pause button

7. Would you rather only be able to whisper or only be able to shout everything?

definitely whisper, I wouldn't want to be that laud obnoxious person in the room

8. Would you rather go without the internet or a car for a month?

My initial reaction would have been WITHOUT A CAR. But not that I really think about it, I'd rather go on a really long road trip with the car, than have the internet

9. Would you rather have to sit all day or stand all day?

Of course I'd rather sit. If I had to stand all day, I'd be so irritable and moody

10. Would you rather sing every word you speak or always speak in rhymes?

Ohh gosh. Can I say neither?
I guess if I had to choose, I'd rather not torture the ears of the world with my horrendous singing skills and I'd speak in rhymes

I nominate +Neri SeesRed +Georgia Leigh +Anne Vanves +Chloe Bellamy +Angela D +Another Teen and anyone else who has read this post and wants to do the tag

p.s. I really want to see your answers, so please link me into your posts

Happy Holidays!

Hey guys,

Well, coming off my astonishingly bad attempt to participate in this years' Blogmas (hopefully I'll have better luck next year), I just wanted to wish you all, if you celebrate it, a Happy belated Christmas! I hope you all had a amazing time and received the presents and things you wished for (as well as gifting some awesome presents).

Okay, so there is a lot we have to catch up on. First of all, school's out!
Nothing excites me more than saying that phrase. I mean, school is great and all, but the current swarm of exams just takes a lot out of a person. I'm sure anyone who has, and or, is currently taking their GCSEs understands what I mean.

(I'll try and condense this post as much as possible)

A lot of people spend this holiday in many different ways, some like to stay at home with he family, others like to go out and celebrate, whether they're alone or with a bunch of friends.
This year I am currently on holiday in Dubai with my mum and one of my older sisters, and on Christmas day, we went to Dubai mall to do some shopping and watch the dancing fountains in front of the Burj Khalifa (I'll show you some pictures in my next post).

Unsurprisingly, I haven't been very productive (revision/academic wise), but instead, I've used that time to meet up with some of my old AD friends.
For those of you wondering why my 'old friends' are in Dubai, I'm not sure if I've ever mentioned this or not, but before coming back to live in London, I lived in Abu Dhabi with my family for a few years (so you know, I went to school there, made friends and whatnot).
Most of my British friends went back to England for the holiday (to be with family and their old friends), but my very close friend 'Jane'  drove down to Dubai to meet up with me and we just hung out around Mall of The Emirates. To summarise, she's good company.

How are you spending this holiday? Did you celebrate at home? on holiday? with friends or family? I want to know.

Anyway, I've got another quote and picture for you all,
Hmm...HMM..

Christmas is not a time nor a season, but a state of mind. To cherish peace and goodwill, to be plenteous in mercy, is to have the real spirit of Christmas.

Christmas for me...

Hey guys,

Christmas means a lot of different things to a lot of people.
For some, it means finally breaking away from work and getting the chance to be with the family and friends, for others (such as soldiers) it may mean getting to stop fighting and come together as one, and I'm sure that the holiday means a lot of different things for you and for me.

My personal idea of Christmas is the following:

1.Bonding with my friends and family.

2. Snow! It occasionally snows in London around this time of year, and I love it because there's nothing better than sitting around the television watching Christmas movies and sipping on hot coco with the family after a having a huge snowball fight.

3. Decorating the Christmas tree. This is a perfect bonding opportunity, where everyone can go crazy with fairy lights and little Christmas ornaments, but I think the best part of this is putting the star on the very top of the tree.

4. Christmas crackers! I've never passed up an opportunity to pull a Christmas cracker, despite the funny, yet corny jokes

5. Secret Santa... although searching for and buying the perfect present on a budget, is very hard, it's always fun trying to guess who got each other what.
This year, I'm doing a secret Santa with my friends, but I have no idea what to get the person I picked (help!).

6. Christmas posts. I love how social media suddenly transforms at this time of year! Youtubers are vlogging, bloggers are blogging, twitter is buzzing etc etc and there's just soo much happy Christmas buzz being spread it's unbelievable!

7. Christmas dinner is always a delicious feast, although I'm not quite sure how it'll be this year considering the fact that  this will be my very first vegetarian Christmas.

8. The Christmas spirit.

Everyone, even the most grumpy of people are jolly and somehow everybody manages to get along with each other at this time of the year.

9. Being together as a family, I love seeing everybody that sometimes you only ever see at Christmas or birthday celebrations.

10. Receiving gifts from friends and family.

11. Christmas Shopping! The Christmas/Boxing day sales are always the best!

If you do celebrate Christmas:

What gets you the most excited about Christmas?
Who do you enjoy spending the holiday with?

Anyway, I've got another quote and picture for you all,

Christmas gift guide: For girls #BigBlogmasproject2014

Hey guys,

One thing I struggle with, as I get older is finding good, quality presents to get someone. The days of home-made gifts/cards 'from the heart' are over and as you get older, the expectations get higher and higher. For example, a few years ago, I bought a girl in my class one of those childish nail-polish sets for around £3. It was a cool gift and all, but now as a teenager, the sort of gifts that I'm expected to produce are of a higher price range than they were before. There's the trouble of finding a gift that is both reasonably priced and suitable for the person you are gifting it to.

That's where this post comes in. I'm just going to give you a few suggestions on good gifts that can be given to pretty much everyone.

Lush, in my opinion is a good place to shop. I love the whole idea of the brand, and so might the receiver of your gift. It's all natural, and you can buy a range of products from bacth bombs to toners etc etc. One of their products that I love the most is the 'Breath of fresh air' I find that it wakes you up, so if you're buying for someone who always looks tired, or sleeps a lot, hopefully it'll be really effective in keeping them feeling fresh.

The price range, in my opinion is quite fair, most of the products listed above only ranging from £5-15 which is the average most people are expected to spend on a present (but understandably this ranges with age and financial situations).

Superdrug, like Lush, is also a really good place to buy products such as those in the above images.
They offer a wide range of products such as mascara, perfumes, bubble baths etc. for a really affordable price range. The products, imaged from superdrug (above) range from £8-15, so are perfect for when you're on a tight present budget.

One thing that I hope you have inferred from this post is that bath soaps and like-wise products are always the best to gift when to a friend or family member when you are stuck on gift ideas because they are things the person can use every day and last long. Although, I do recommend that you make the gift a little more personal when gifting something to someone close to you, because gifting your mum with bath soaps may seem nice, but may come across as you not putting effort into it, if she has been hinting that she wants a new phone case.

And... One last thing I think would be awesome to get someone, partially because I desperately want one, is a portable charger. This, along with many other things, is a unisex gift and is pretty much ageless (as in, would be good for people of any age as long as they own a mobile phone). Unlike the other products, I'm unsure of where you can purchase one of these. I've heard that you can buy one from online stores such as Amazon (I won't be surprised, they sell pretty-much everything).

Anyway, I've got another quote and picture for you all,
